At Harmony, one of our goals is to give as many people access to using decentralized applications as possible.

Today, we are excited to introduce another way for users to get ONE tokens using Wyre. Users can buy ETH and then use Harmony’s bridge with Ethereum and decentralized exchange (DEX) to swap ONEs. After a user buys ETH using Wyre on Metamask, they can bridge their ETH over to a wrapped version of 1ETH on Harmony and then have the option to swap it to native ONEs on Swoop.

We are delighted that Wyre has built the infrastructure for transitioning more people from fiat assets to crypto. Now anyone can use Wyre, the Harmony Horizon bridge and Swoop DEX to get native ONE tokens. Visit our product showcases to learn more about ways to use your ONE tokens.

A step by step guide is below. This is a demonstration of how our Horizon bridge and Swoop DEX can facilitate cross-chain transactions. We’ll be working to bring more ways for users to access ONEs in the future.

A user will need an existing Metamask wallet and a Harmony wallet (download here). A user can do the following:

Step 1: buy Ethereum using Wyre in Metamask.

Step 2: go to to convert the Ethereum into 1ETH on the Harmony network.

Step 3: go to to swap 1ETH to native ONE tokens. The Harmony Foundation is providing the initial liquidity in the 1ETH/ONE pool.

Here are the step by step guide with screenshots:

Go into your Metamask and select “Buy” and on the next screen, select “Continue to Wyre”.

It will take you to Wyre where you can buy ETH by following their flow step by step. You can track your transaction to see when it has finished.

Once you have your ETH, go to You will now need to connect your Metamask and choose “ETH” to migrate over to Harmony. You will need to enter the receiving ONE address.

Once the bridge transactions have been completed (allow for 13 block confirmations on Ethereum), then you will see the Harmony ETH, or 1ETH, appear in your Harmony wallet.

From here, go to to swap your 1ETH for ONE. In case 1ETH is not in the prepopulated field, you can manually add 1ETH via its contract address one1dxparek77d5scntpdvf4j7sfucvnagqnhhfaun. After that, you will just need to swap the desired amount of 1ETH for ONE.

Become ONE with Harmony

Developers can build on Harmony today, a fast and open blockchain for decentralized applications. Harmony Mainnet supports state sharding with instant finality. Our staking mechanism reduces centralization while supporting delegation and slashing.
